An Indian Musical Duo consisting of  Ritika Parmeshwar and Amarnath.

About the Artists…

RITIKA is a Singer & live performer based in Mumbai, India.

Ritika’s refreshing voice has enthused, captivated and enthralled audiences across various age groups, genres and geographies.

Her musical journey began right from school where she won many accolades for various competitions she took part in and was also popularly known as the “Singing Nightingale” of her school. From there, she went on to pursue her Graduation and Post Graduation in Hindustani Classical Music from Miranda House, Delhi University and also won the title of “Voice Of Miranda” in one of their competitions.

At the age of 22, she signed her 1st album with SaReGaMa Pvt. Ltd. named “Cosmic Chants” which was a devotional album in our ancient language Sanskrit. Apart from having sung in languages like Hindi, Sanskrit she has also sung in Malayalam for another album named “Prarthana” in which the male version of the same track has been sung by Vijay Yesudas son of the legendary singer Mr. Yesudas. Apart from having performed in various places across North India she has also performed down south with the legendary singer Mr. Unni Menon.

Recently, she has sung the title track for an upcoming Bollywood movie “ALBERT PINTO KO GUSSA KYUN AATA HAI”  and has also sung a song “Gudiya Rani” on the lines of Women Empowerment for TEACH FOR INDIA NSPA.

Music for her is an eternal source of immense joy and energy to the soul. Her belief is that, many things that are the most difficult to talk about are easily expressed through music. Singing has become an integral part of her without which she cannot relate to herself.

AMAR is an Indian Composer-Singer-Songwriter, Guitar player, Lyricist and Music Director/Producer based in Mumbai, India.

Amar has performed more than 100 concerts all over India with various artists like Ustad Ahmed Hussain- Md Hussain, Shibani Kashyap to name a few. He was also a part of ARTISTES UNLIMITED, New Delhi.

His unique combination of traditional Indian sounds mixed with western influences has brought him in to the spotlight. His lyrics and compositions are about every common man’s emotions and experiences.

Amar has lent his voice for various jingles and documentaries like CPR-10 Mantra, Hello India etc and composed music for short films, theatre and ballets as well.

“Gudiya Rani” song is one of his notable works recently done for TEACH FOR INDIA NSPA.

He has done his Graduation from Delhi University in Hindustani Classical Music and was simultaneously very active in the music culture of DU by performing and having won in various college fests that took place all over India like IIT-DELHI-KANPUR-ROORKEE-MUMBAI, BITS PILANI etc. to name a few.
